The name Relish resonates for Chef Laura Zientek on various levels.  Her mother's cucumber relish, made from the fruits of a summer garden, conjures images of what truly good food is - made with care, love, and the best quality ingredients you can find.  The concept of seasonal, local eating is central to Relish because we believe these ingredients create the highest quality meals while also supporting our neighbors' businesses and farms.

Additionally, 
relish describes a feeling - the ability to relax, take in an experience, and live in the moment. In our busy lives, we often don't have the time to sit down and fully enjoy a meal with the ones we love.  Laura believes that her thoughtfully prepared meals will help busy families enjoy food and each others company more thoroughly and more often.

Chef Laura Zientek is a recent graduate of the Cambridge School of Culinary Arts where she perfected her hollandaise sauce and learned the art of making the perfect pie crust.  When not in the kitchen, you will probably find Laura reading cookbooks, food-related blogs or talking to someone about food.  When not talking about food or eating it, Laura loves to ride her bicycle around Boston, take walks in the Arnold Arboretum, and teach cooking classes with 
Take Back the Kitchen, a youth and adult culinary arts education program at the Haley House Bakery Cafe.
